Yukionna to Kani wo Kuu
On a particular summer day filled with the loud singing of cicadas, a man without money or a place to belong attempts to end his life but cannot bring himself to take the final step. As he hesitates between life and death, he watches a gourmet food program on television and realizes he has never eaten crab in his life. Deciding that "For my last day on this Earth, I'll eat crab," he sets his sights on a woman who lives in a high-class neighborhood he had previously seen in a library. He forces his way into her home and demands money, but events take an unexpected turn.
