Zoboomafoo is an American children's television series that aired from January 25, 1999, to April 28, 2001, and continues to be shown in syndication in some areas, as well as regularly on PBS Kids Sprout. A total of 65 episodes were produced. Created by the Kratt Brothers, the show features a talking Coquerel's Sifaka lemur named Zoboomafoo, or Zoboo for short, along with recurring animal guests. Each episode begins in "Animal Junction," a unique setting where the rules of nature are altered, allowing wild animals to visit and interact. After January 16, 2004, the show was removed from weekday schedules on most PBS stations, although some stations still air it.
