Universal's Christopher Nolan epic The Odyssey topped the worldwide weekend box office with a reported $263.7 million total, setting an opening record for the two‑time Oscar winner. The film earned $140.2 million from 73 international territories and posted a strong North American debut of $123.5 million. Stephen Chow's comedy Kung Fu Soccer accumulated over $214 million worldwide, while Pixar’s Toy Story 5 approached the $1 billion mark as it continued its run in multiple markets.
