Synopsis

Merida is a princess in a mystical Scottish Highland kingdom ruled by her parents, King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Known for her unruly nature and skill as an archer, Merida defies a sacred custom of the land, inadvertently causing turmoil in the kingdom. To try to restore balance, she seeks out an eccentric old Wise Woman and receives a wish with unintended consequences. Merida's journey also involves the kingdom's three lords—Lord MacGuffin, Lord Macintosh, and Lord Dingwall—who provide both assistance and comic relief.
