7 Husbands for Hurmuz
Synopsis
This remake of a beloved Turkish musical comedy follows the adventures of the flirtatious Hurmuz in late 1800s Istanbul. Living in Taskasap, Hurmuz has six husbands as part of a scheme to address her financial difficulties. She meets each of them on a different day of the week. One day, she encounters the town's doctor at her husband's barber shop and falls in love with him; the doctor reciprocates her feelings. However, one night, all six husbands return home at the same time, leading Hurmuz and her accomplice and friend, Safinaz, into a series of awkward yet humorous situations.
