A Kiss at Midnight
Synopsis
In this story, two daughters are left to navigate life after their father, a widower, relocates to a new town and launches a computerized matchmaking business. Determined to find him a new wife, the girls secretly develop a dating application on the company computer and begin vetting potential candidates. They carefully select what they believe to be the ideal match and manipulate the system to connect their father with her. Unbeknownst to them, the woman they have chosen is the owner of a traditional matchmaking service in town, who is determined to expose the flaws and incompetence of the computer-based approach.
