American Fable
Synopsis
At age eleven, Gitty learns that her father Abe, a well‑liked farmer, has taken a wealthy man hostage in their abandoned silo in an effort to rescue their struggling farm. She secretly befriends the captive, and as details about his identity and the consequences of his potential escape emerge, Gitty decides to confront the delicate boundary between reality and fiction.
