Synopsis
Angus is a 14-year-old boy who is large, awkward, and deeply infatuated with Melissa Lefevre, a girl he believes is out of his reach. Shy and insecure, he feels he has no chance with her. His uncool demeanor makes it all the more surprising—both to him and the rest of the school—that he is chosen to dance with her at the Winter Ball. The only person who isn't surprised is a popular student who orchestrated the situation to humiliate him. Angus' best friend, however, decides to help him win Melissa's affection by assisting him in developing a new, more confident appearance.
