Synopsis

In 1999, thousands of activists gathered in Seattle, Washington, to protest the World Trade Organization's Ministerial Conference. Initially a peaceful demonstration aimed at halting the WTO negotiations, the protest escalated into widespread unrest, culminating in a riot and a declared State of Emergency. The conflict saw protesters facing off against the Seattle Police Department and the National Guard.
