André 3000, born André Lauren Benjamin, is an American rapper, singer, record producer, and actor known for his work with the hip-hop duo Outkast. Formed in 1992 with Big Boi, Outkast became one of the most influential groups in hip-hop. André 3000 is celebrated for his unique rap-singing style and is widely considered one of the greatest rappers of all time. In 2025, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Outkast, recognizing his significant contributions to music.
