Synopsis
U.S. Army soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division are engaged in combat in the mountainous region of Bastogne, Belgium, during December 1944. Holley and his fellow American troops have already witnessed the death of one of their number, Roderigues, due to enemy fire. The soldiers attempt to repel a new wave of Nazi assaults, but they are in urgent need of a shift in the weather. Without clear skies, they cannot receive the necessary air support.
