Overworked party‑goer Brittany vows to shed pounds by training for the grueling New York City Marathon, but she must outrun her own self‑destruction and a city that never slows down.

Synopsis
Brittany Forgler is a lively and sociable person who often puts others before herself. Her lifestyle, characterized by frequent partying, lack of stable employment, and unhealthy relationships, is beginning to take a toll. A visit to the doctor serves as a sobering wake-up call, revealing the extent of her poor health. Determined to lose weight but unable to afford a gym membership and unwilling to ask for assistance, Brittany struggles to find a solution. Her neighbor encourages her to run a single block, which sparks an unexpected idea: she sets her sights on participating in the New York City Marathon.
