Biography
Michael William Day is an American actor and comedian best known for his work on *Saturday Night Live* (SNL). He joined the show as a writer before the 39th season in 2013 and later became a featured player during the 42nd season in 2016. Day was promoted to repertory status beginning with the 44th season in 2018. In addition to his SNL career, he has served as an on-air correspondent for *The Tonight Show with Jay Leno* and *The Jay Leno Show*. Day also hosts the Netflix series *Is It Cake?*, a competition show where contestants guess whether a dish is a real cake or another food disguised to look like one.
