Buddha in a Traffic Jam
Synopsis
Vikram is a cheerful management student at one of India's top business schools. He gains sudden fame after launching a successful online campaign against radical moral policing in the country. Encouraged by his university professor, Ranjan Batki, Vikram is challenged to start another internet campaign through a nonprofit Pottery Club aimed at raising funds for impoverished communities in Maoist-affected regions of India. Unaware of the dangers ahead, Vikram becomes involved in a conspiracy that puts his life and the nation at risk. The story explores his entanglement in two deeply rooted forms of corruption in India—Socialism and Capitalism. It is inspired by real-life events from India's underbelly.
