Synopsis

Charlie St. Cloud is an accomplished sailor who enjoys the support of his mother, Claire, and his younger brother, Sam. He also holds a college scholarship that promises to take him far from his quiet Pacific Northwest hometown. However, his promising future is abruptly halted by a tragedy that shatters his dreams. When his high school classmate, Tess, unexpectedly returns to town, Charlie becomes caught between keeping a promise he made four years earlier and pursuing a new romantic connection. As he finds the strength to move past his past, Charlie realizes that the soul most in need of saving is his own.
