Christmas Everlasting
Synopsis
As Christmas approaches, Lucy Toomey is on the verge of achieving a major career milestone, set to become partner at a prestigious New York corporate law firm. However, this progress is upended when her older sister, Alice, who has special needs, unexpectedly passes away. Lucy returns to Nilson’s Bay, Wis., to attend the funeral and manage Alice’s estate. Though reluctant to revisit her childhood home, Lucy feels deep regret for not answering her sister’s final call. Upon her return, she meets Peter, her former high school sweetheart and Alice’s attorney, who reveals the unusual terms of Alice’s will: in order to inherit the family home, Lucy must live there for 30 days during the holiday season.
