Synopsis

In a Midwestern college setting, naive prep student Jonathan forms a bond with his more worldly roommate, Skip, who takes the small-town boy under his wing. Encouraged by Skip, the inexperienced Jonathan becomes emboldened to seek out older women in the cocktail lounges of nearby Chicago, where he meets and has a sexual encounter with the alluring Ellen, who is later revealed to be Skip's mother. The friendship between the two is further strained when a cheating scandal erupts at the school.
