Synopsis
This adaptation of the satirical British novel follows Flora Poste, a spirited London society girl who becomes orphaned at the age of 19. She finds a new home with her eccentric relatives, the Starkadders of Cold Comfort Farm. With a determined attitude and guidance from her mischievous friend, Mary, Flora moves into the Starkadders' rural estate and begins to transform their lives. As she modernizes the backward family, she also finds inspiration for her own novel.
