Synopsis

During the Korean War, Joe Moran is convicted for striking a colonel and imprisoned in Germany, where he meets his former company commander, Captain Ross, who is jailed for black marketeering. Joe agrees to escape with Ross and his associates, but the plan goes awry when a policeman is killed. Disturbed by the violence, Joe abandons the group and escapes on his own, while the others are recaptured. Years later, Joe runs a boat rental business and is approached by Ross, now a wanted drug smuggler who seeks to use Joe's boats for his operations. To secure Joe's cooperation, Ross kidnaps his wife and daughter.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 21

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
