Synopsis

The Gardner family relocates to a secluded farm in rural New England in an effort to escape the pressures of modern life. As they settle into their new surroundings, a meteorite strikes their property, melts into the ground, and introduces an unusual, extraterrestrial hue that begins to alter the land and the fabric of space-time. The family soon realizes that this alien presence is causing gradual mutations in all living things it comes into contact with—including themselves.
