A teenage boy in Nazi‑occupied Belarus steals a rifle and is thrust into the brutal world of Soviet partisans, where he must navigate deadly enemy attacks, ruthless commanders, and his own shattered innocence to stay alive.

Synopsis
When German forces invade a village in Belarus, young Florya defies his family's wishes and flees to the forest to join the exhausted Resistance. There, he meets a girl named Glasha, who accompanies him back to his village. Upon returning, Florya discovers his family and fellow peasants have been massacred. His struggle to survive in the aftermath of the war grows increasingly harrowing, as he battles between despair and hope.
