Dangerous Lies
A down‑on‑her‑luck caretaker inherits a wealthy stranger’s fortune, but must untangle a web of lies and murderous motives before the people she trusts turn deadly.
Synopsis
Katie Franklin, after losing her job as a waitress, takes on a caretaker position for a wealthy elderly man in his large, empty estate in Chicago. As their relationship deepens, the man unexpectedly dies and leaves Katie as his sole heir. She and her husband, Adam, become entangled in a complicated situation involving lies, deception, and murder. To survive, Katie must scrutinize the motives of everyone around her, including those she holds dear.
