Biography

Sasha Alexander began acting in the seventh grade when she was cast as the lead female in her school's production of "Baby." Her male co-star dropped out just hours before opening night, but Sasha performed the role with determination, using her comedic skills to keep the show running. The audience responded enthusiastically, and she continued acting in high school and college plays. She later moved from her native Los Angeles to New York, where she performed in summer stock and Shakespeare Festival productions. Her portrayal of Katherine in "The Taming of the Shrew" earned her the opportunity to study in London with Cicely Berry and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Sasha graduated from USC's School of Cinema & Television, where she studied directing to develop her behind-the-camera skills. Throughout this time, she continued to build her acting resume with appearances in several critically acclaimed independent films that premiered at festivals nationwide. In addition to acting, Sasha has written a variety of productions, including *Lucky 13* (2005), a comedy she co-wrote, produced, and starred in alongside Harland Williams and Lauren Graham. She also co-starred with Angie Harmon on the TV drama *Rizzoli & Isles* (2010).
