Synopsis
A man living in rural Wisconsin cares for his bedridden mother, who is domineering and instills in him the belief that all women are evil. After her death, he becomes deeply attached to her and, a year later, exhumes her body and brings it home. He learns taxidermy and begins robbing graves to obtain materials to preserve her. Over time, he starts seeking fresher sources of materials. The story is based loosely on the true case of Ed Gein.
