Dummy Ache
Synopsis
Dummy Ache is a 1936 American short comedy film directed by Leslie Goodwins. The story follows an overbearing husband who becomes suspicious of his wife and decides to follow her throughout the day, leading to a series of misunderstandings, mishaps, and comedic situations. The film was nominated for an Academy Award at the 9th Academy Awards in 1936 in the category of Best Short Subject (Two-Reel). It was preserved in 2013 by the Academy Film Archive in partnership with the Library of Congress, Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division.
