Biography

Jack Rice was an American actor primarily known for his comedic roles in short films. He gained recognition for portraying the scrounging, freeloading brother-in-law in a series of domestic comedies starring Edgar Kennedy at RKO studio. Additionally, Rice played the character "Ollie" in approximately a dozen films based on the Blondie comic strip produced by Columbia Pictures. His work in these popular series established him as a familiar face in early 20th-century comedy.
