Synopsis

Dr. Vaseegaran develops Chitti, a highly advanced robot modeled after himself, but the scientific organization AIRD rejects the creation due to its absence of human behavior and emotions. A lightning strike unexpectedly awakens emotions in Chitti, prompting the robot to begin exhibiting human-like feelings. Chitti then falls in love with Dr. Vaseegaran's fiancée, Sana, and turns against his creator, resulting in dangerous consequences.
