Farewell, Mr. Haffmann
Synopsis
Set in Paris in 1942, the story follows François Mercier, an ordinary man who dreams of starting a family with the woman he loves, Blanche. He works for the skilled jeweler Mr. Haffmann. As the German occupation intensifies, the two men are forced into a partnership whose repercussions, over the course of several months, will profoundly alter the lives of François, Blanche, and Mr. Haffmann.
