A disillusioned Broadway hopeful returns to her small town and reluctantly takes on a quirky group of young dancers, leading them toward a competition that just might reignite her passion for the stage.

After not making it on Broadway, April goes back to her hometown and hesitantly starts training a group of mismatched young dancers for a competition.
