Biography

Carina Battrick is a young actress known for her work in both film and television. She gained recognition for her starring role in NBCUniversal's *Chucky*, which premiered on Syfy and received a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Battrick later appeared in *Under the Banner of Heaven* for FX, directed by Dustin Lance Black and co-starring Andrew Garfield. A review from Decider highlighted her performance as "heartbreakingly powerful," describing her portrayal of Jenny Lafferty as a "watery-eyed, runny-nosed, broken-voiced portrait of terror and love." She also had a recurring role in *Impulse* over two seasons on YouTube Red, in addition to appearing in several Lifetime movies. In film, Battrick starred in the Netflix movie *Feel the Beat* alongside Sofia Carson, and appeared in *Falling*, the directorial debut of Viggo Mortensen, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Outside of acting, Battrick enjoys competitive dancing and music, and her interest in reading has contributed to her performances.
