Synopsis

In an Arizona county, an authoritarian rancher governs with the aid of her private posse of hired guns. When a new Marshall arrives to restore order, the cattle queen begins to develop feelings for the lawman, who is committed to a non-violent approach. Tensions rise as both of their brothers, prone to violence, become involved, and a female gunman enters the scene, leading to a series of events that spiral out of control.
