Frankie and Johnny
Ex-convict Johnny lands a diner job and sets his sights on winning over the guarded waitress Frankie, but must navigate her mistrust and his own fresh start before their fleeting romance burns out.

Synopsis
After being released from prison on a forgery charge, Johnny finds work as a short-order cook at a diner in New York. He begins a brief romantic encounter with waitress Cora before developing feelings for Frankie, Cora's friend and coworker. Although Frankie is initially reluctant to pursue a relationship with Johnny, she eventually agrees to give him a chance after her best friend, Tim, encourages her to do so.
