Synopsis
The story recounts the final chapter of Freddie Mercury's life and the aftermath of his death from AIDS, focusing on how Queen organized one of the largest concerts in history, the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium, to honor his life and address the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS. For the first time, Mercury's personal journey is presented alongside the experiences of individuals who tested positive for HIV and those who lost loved ones during the same period. Medical professionals, survivors, and human rights advocates share their accounts of the challenges of living through the AIDS pandemic and the societal fears and moral panic it generated.
