Synopsis
Across America, rural landowners are increasingly receiving lucrative offers from energy companies seeking to lease their land. The reason? These companies aim to access a vast natural gas reservoir often referred to as the "Saudi Arabia of natural gas." Halliburton developed a method to extract the gas using a hydraulic drilling process known as "fracking," and as a result, the United States is on the verge of becoming a major global energy power.
