“Watch out Brigitte...here comes Gidget!”
Synopsis
After an accident while swimming in the sea, Francis encounters surfer Moondoggie and becomes interested in his sport. She begins spending time with his group of friends; although they initially mock her, they teach her to surf, eventually accepting her and giving her the nickname “Gidget.” Despite learning to surf, she finds it difficult to become more than a friend to Moondoggie.
