    Biography

    Burnett Guffey, ASC was an American cinematographer known for his work on over 100 films from 1929 to 1971. He received five Academy Award nominations for Best Cinematography, winning twice: for *From Here to Eternity* (1953) and *Bonnie and Clyde* (1967). Guffey also served as President of the American Society of Cinematographers from 1957 to 1958, reflecting his significant influence in the field of cinematography.
