Girl on the Bridge
A young woman on the brink of despair meets a knife-throwing street performer in Paris, and together they embark on a journey along the Mediterranean, finding solace and purpose in each other’s company.
Synopsis
It is night on a bridge in Paris when a girl named Adele, overcome with sorrow and on the verge of tears, leans over the Seine River, contemplating drowning her troubles. Unexpectedly, someone takes notice of her—Gabor, a knife thrower in need of a human target for his performance. Adele, who has known little luck and has nowhere else to turn, decides to follow him. Together, they travel along the northern coast of the Mediterranean, performing as they go.
