A secret screening revealed a 2.5-hour assembly cut of the 1984 film 'Gremlins' for the first time since 1983. The event, hosted by Verve and 1201 Films, invited a select group of horror filmmakers and fans. The version shown was described as rough, with missing scenes and pencil marks. Director Joe Dante warned attendees not to replace their memory of the finished film with this unfinished version.
