His Duty
Synopsis
On his twenty-first birthday, Bob Allen receives a cap from his mother and his brother Jack, a police officer, who gives him one with his initials embroidered in the lining. After Jack goes to work, Bob leaves the house as well. That evening, Jack is called to a robbery scene, where he discovers the same cap with his brother's initials. Troubled by the possibility that Bob is involved in the crime, Jack returns home and confronts him with the evidence. Despite their mother's distress, Jack fulfills his duty by arresting his brother in handcuffs.
