Biography
Arthur V. Johnson was an influential actor and director in the early American silent film era. Recognized for his role in the development of early cinema, he played a part in shaping the industry during its foundational period. Johnson was also the uncle of Nat Pendleton, an Olympic wrestler who later pursued a career as a film actor.
