Nursing a Viper
Synopsis
Set during the French Revolution, a prosperous couple manages to remain secure by outwardly supporting republican ideals. When a mob assaults a nearby chateau, an aristocrat flees to the couple's home. They save his life by dressing him as a servant, but he soon makes unwanted advances toward the wife. Upon hearing their struggle, the husband intervenes, removes the aristocrat's disguise, and pushes him outside, where he is killed by the mob.
