Ivko's Feast
Synopsis
The story is set in Niš toward the end of the nineteenth century, during the period following the turbulent historical events that culminated in the final liberation of southern Serbian territories from Ottoman rule. The comedy centers on a traditional saint’s day feast organized by Ivko and examines how his guests test Serbian hospitality.
