Synopsis
After a difficult childhood, Jane Eyre enters the world as a governess. She finds a sense of contentment in her new role at Thornfield Hall, where she meets Edward Rochester, the house's brooding and reserved master. Jane and Rochester develop a close friendship, and she gradually falls in love with him. Just as happiness appears within reach, Rochester's shocking secret threatens to shatter it.
