Synopsis
This feature-length music bio documentary profiles the legendary guitar builder John Monteleone. The film follows the self-taught craftsman from his beginnings taking apart and fixing instruments as a child to his success as a sought after master builder and a living artist on permanent exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Monteleone's instruments are known not only for their incomparable sound, but also for their visually striking and innovative designs. The film features musical tributes and interviews with Mark Knopfler, Woody Mann, Ben Harper, David Grisman, Julian Lage, Mike Marshall, Anthony Wilson, Mafalda Minnozzi, Paul Ricci and others.
