Tommie lives in Cologne‑Kalk and lacks money, his own apartment, and a girlfriend. He works in an exhaust workshop where the foreman frequently expresses anger toward him. Despite this, Tommie remains upbeat; he is passionate about video and imagines film scenarios, often featuring the adult actress Gianna S. as the lead. He collects exhaust pipes, and after stealing a valuable pipe from Jupp’s Mercedes, he faces serious consequences. To avoid further trouble, Tommie must return the pipe to Jupp, but he is also given an ultimatum to obtain a case of the rare beer “Ramsdorfer Kölsch” by 7 p.m., a task that proves extremely difficult because Gianna S. is scheduled to arrive in town at the same time.
