Biography
Veronica Ferres is a German actress known for her work in film and television. She gained critical acclaim for her role as Sara Bender in the 2007 TV movie *Die Frau vom Checkpoint Charlie*, which is based on the true story of Jutta Fleck, a woman who defied East German authorities to reunite with her family after the fall of the Berlin Wall. For her performance, Ferres received the Deutscher Fernsehpreis award for Best Actress.
