Synopsis

Minette and Paul are married and appear to live a happy family life. However, when Paul begins to gradually distance himself from his wife, she decides to follow him and discovers his tryst with Nora, his new lover, in a hotel room. The betrayed wife keeps the incident to herself, even as she continues to frequent the opera, a place favored by her husband. After a violent confrontation between the two lovers, Paul mysteriously disappears. A former associate of Paul contacts Minette and claims that Paul murdered Nora. To support his assertion, he shows Minette a photograph of a dead body that could be that of the missing woman. The film is a crossover between a romantic drama and a thriller, in which both the characters and the audience struggle to distinguish truth from deception.
