Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke
Synopsis
When the dam in the town of Rutland begins to show signs of deterioration, David Powell, the architect who originally designed the dam but was removed from the project and left town after being blackballed by Walker, a man more concerned with profit than safety, returns. Powell insists that the dam be drained and inspected, but Walker argues that the process would be too time-consuming and expensive. Powell visits the dam and observes several anomalies. He attempts to warn the deputy mayor, who is also his estranged wife, but she refuses to listen out of anger. Meanwhile, Powell tries to reconnect with his son, who resents him for abandoning the family.
