Killjoy
Synopsis
A romantic rivalry leads to the murder of an innocent woman—or is it a carefully orchestrated hoax? At City General Hospital, two young doctors become embroiled in a competitive struggle over Laury Medford. Their interest in her may extend beyond her beauty, as her father holds the influential position of chairman of the hospital's board. Winning her hand could be a strategic move toward the chief of staff position. Adding complexity to the situation is a senior hospital employee, the mother of one of the doctors, who is actively working to improve her son's prospects. At the same time, an enigmatic outsider, claiming to have known the deceased, begins shadowing the two men. Laury herself may not be who she seems. Is the crime real or staged? The truth remains hidden until the final scene.
