La Ronde
Synopsis
An omniscient narrator leads us through a series of events in Vienna in 1900. A soldier encounters a young and eager woman of the evening. Later, he begins an affair with a young woman who becomes a maid and, in turn, engages in a similar relationship with the young man of the household. The young man then seduces a married woman. The story continues, cycling through the pleasures and complexities of life.
